Southern Point Staffing has a career opportunity for a Cabinet Installer/Helper in Albany, GA! A Day in the Life of a Cabinet Installer/Helper: As a Cabinet Installer/Helper, you will assist in installing cabinets in residential settings, ensuring precision and quality. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work on ladders. Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist in installing cabinets according to design specifications and blueprints.
Measure and cut materials to ensure a perfect fit.
Secure cabinets to walls or floors, ensuring stability and safety.
Install cabinet hardware such as hinges, knobs, and handles.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace during and after installations.
Qualifications and Experience:
High school diploma or GED (or relevant experience/training).
Ability to lift and carry heavy cabinets consistently.
Comfortable working on ladders and in various residential environments.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Basic carpentry or construction experience is a plus.
Schedule and Compensation:
Pay Rate: $15-$16/hr starting
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (EST)
Position Type: Full-time
