Job Description
Labor / Carpenter
Southern Point Staffing is seeking reliable laborers to help with various clean up at sites with water or fire damage.
Pay and Schedule
$15 per hour
Monday through Friday 8am-5pm or until the job is completed. Some Saturdays depending on the needs of the company.
Assignments could be short or long-term depending on the right individual.
*SPS offers all team members medical, dental, vision, STD, and life insurance.
Responsibilities and Duties
Be punctual and reliable
Be willing to clean and move objects - remove trash and debris. Could include furniture or large items. Could also involve demo of sheetrock and interior structures.
Maintain a positive attitude.
Must be able to read a tape measure.
Previous construction background is a must. Min of 2 years.
Able to put up sheetrock, tape, trim and paint walls.
Qualifications
Have shown stable work history by having stayed on job(s) 2 years or more.
Preference given to those with experience in a physically demanding role.
Have reliable transportation
Will need to clear compliance requirements including background check and drug test.
