Southern Point Staffing has a career opportunity for a General Laborer in Albany, GA!A Day in the Life of a General Laborer As a General Laborer, you will work in a warehouse environment, assisting with the production and handling of metal sheet doors. Your day-to-day tasks will include operating basic machinery, loading and unloading materials, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring all safety procedures are followed. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist in the assembly and production of metal sheet doors.
Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision.
Load and unload materials and products.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Commitment to workplace safety.
Schedule and Compensation:
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour starting pay
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST)
