We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team in Albany, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants, showcasing available properties, and ensuring a seamless leasing process. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for real estate.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist prospective tenants, providing detailed information about available properties and their features.
Conduct property tours, highlighting the unique features and amenities of each unit.
Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing accurate and detailed information about the properties and leasing process.
Process rental applications, including verifying income, conducting background and credit checks, and contacting references.
Prepare and execute lease agreements in compliance with company policies and relevant laws.
Maintain knowledge of the local real estate market and be aware of current leasing trends.
Assist in marketing efforts to promote available properties, including creating listings and utilizing various advertising platforms.
Build and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective tenants to ensure high occupancy rates.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in real estate or related fields is a plus.
Previous experience in leasing, property management, or sales is preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with property management software is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during property tours.
Occasional lifting of items up to 20 pound
Schedule & Compensation
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; occasional Saturdays for showings.
Starting at $13.00 per hour, with potential to increase to $19.00 per hour upon permanent hire.
Supplemental Health insurance offered while with SPS.
