Job Description
Southern Point Staffing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience in general maintenance, minor repairs, and basic HVAC services. This role requires flexibility and problem-solving skills to ensure that the client's residential and commercial properties remain in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance tasks, including entry level carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and light plumbing.
Conduct minor HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting (HVAC certification required; minimal skills acceptable).
Inspect and repair property exteriors and interiors as needed.
Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure properties remain in excellent condition for tenants and owners.
Maintain inventory of supplies and tools required for repairs.
Communicate effectively with tenants, property managers, and vendors.
Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
Qualifications:
HVAC certification (all skill levels considered).
Experience in carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and light plumbing.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple work orders.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
