Southern Point Staffing has a career opportunity for a Production Packing & Shipping Associate in Albany, GA!A Day in the Life of a Production Packing & Shipping Associate As a Production Packing & Shipping Associate, you’ll help ensure customers receive high-quality pecan-based products on time and in perfect condition. Your day includes picking and packing customer orders, labeling packages, organizing inventory, and preparing shipments for delivery. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment and play a critical role in maintaining efficiency and accuracy in the shipping process. Responsibilities and Duties:
Pick customer orders accurately based on packing slips or invoices
Pack products carefully to ensure quality and prevent damage during shipping
Label boxes and packages for shipping according to company procedures
Organize and stage outgoing shipments in the shipping area
Assist with inventory organization and restocking
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow all safety and quality guidelines
Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience in packing, shipping, or warehouse work preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Basic math skills for counting and verifying orders
Schedule and Compensation: Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (EST) Schedule may change as the season ramps up.
Assignment Type: Seasonal – position runs through January 1st, 2026. Possible full-time opportunities for top-performing employees.
