Plant Manager for location in Albany, Ga. There are multiple moving parts that occur behind the scenes to keep our plant running smoothly and ready to serve our customers.
As Plant Manager, you will ensure we meet our company goals while continuing commitment to the growth, development, and training of our team members.
Starting Salary: $60,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time Job Responsibilities: Lead the overall operation of the Plant to include Production, Warehouse and Office Staff. Directly manage a team of 10-15 across all departments. Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards. Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment in coordination with the Maintenance Department. Overseeing inventory and distribution of finished goods. Not limited to unloading and loading trucks and creating a bill of lading if needed. Plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Enforces and promotes workplace safety procedures in each department. Performs demand forecasting, monitors inventory, and determines production schedules to maintain adequate days of stock. Perform quality controls and monitor production requirements. Other duties as assigned as necessary for business operations.
Education and /or Experience Minimum of 8 to 10 years of work experience in supervisory, manufacturing process, workflow, production equipment and industrial controls. Working knowledge of shop machinery (CNC machine, Sheer, Press Breaks)
Must pass a background check. Solid organization, communication, and collaboration skills. Forklift certified & OSHA safety trained
