Location: Local Job Sites (Albany, GA and surrounding areas)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Residential Restoration & Remodeling
Technician to perform hands-on carpentry, interior?nish work, and general residential
repairs. In this role, you will work on residential remodeling projects, insurance restoration
claims (water,?re, or storm damage rebuilds), and property upgrades. The ideal candidate
has multi-trade experience—from sheetrock and trim work to basic plumbing and
cabinetry installation—and takes pride in quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Duties

? Drywall & Sheetrock: Hang sheetrock, tape, mud, sand, and?nish drywall to
match existing wall textures (Level 3–5?nishes).

? Finish Carpentry & Millwork: Install interior trim, baseboards, crown molding, door
casings, window trim, and interior doors with precision.

? Cabinetry: Assemble, level, and install kitchen and bathroom cabinets, vanities,
and hardware.

? Flooring Installation: Lay various residential?ooring types, including LVP/LVT
(Luxury Vinyl Plank/Tile), laminate, hardwood, and basic tile.

? Basic Plumbing: Perform light residential plumbing repairs and
disconnects/reconnects (e.g., swapping sinks, faucets, toilets, bath?xtures, and
drain connections during kitchen/bath remodels).

? Demolition & Site Prep: Safely perform selective tear-outs of damaged materials,
prepare job sites, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.

? Painting & Finishing: Perform surface prep, priming, and?nish painting on walls,
trim, and ceilings.

Quali?cations & Requirements

? Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling, general
contracting,?nish carpentry, or damage restoration.

? Trade Knowledge: Pro?cient with power tools, hand tools, levels, pneumatic
nailers, and trade-speci?c equipment.

? Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs, bend, kneel, reach, work o
ladders, and work on your feet for extended periods.

? Environment: Willingness to work in varying indoor settings (hot/cold conditions
depending on active HVAC status on construction/restoration sites).
? Transportation: Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to
navigate between local job sites.

? Soft Skills: Self-motivated, punctual, able to follow safety guidelines, and
comfortable working independently or alongside a crew.

Preferred Quali?cations (Plus, but not required)
? Experience with water/?re mitigation protocols or IICRC certi?cations (WRT, FSRT).
? Valid OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety certi?cation.
? Personal hand tools and cordless drill set.

Work Schedule & Compensation
? Hours: Standard day shift (e.g., 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
