Southern Point Staffing is interviewing for a
Termite Inspector in the Albany, GA area.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Inspecting homes or other dwellings for signs of infestation. This may be the exterior or interior of a structure, including crawl space or attic space.
- Inspecting and identifying potential entry points such as cracks in walls or foundation.
- Evaluating risk level posed by various types of termites and signs of activity.
- Preparing detailed reports of findings.
Qualifications
- This is a physically demanding job that could require crawling in attics, crawl spaces or climbing a ladder.
- Not afraid to encounter spiders, bugs or other critters found outdoors.
- Previous experience in construction, plumbing, HVAC or other building trades.
- Knowledge of various types of building materials and their strengths or weaknesses.
- Attention to detail to identify areas of infestation.
- Strong communication skills to effectively explain and answer questions related to the inspection.
- Ability to lift heavy objects to access crawl space or other areas for inspection.
Compensation and Schedule
- $14.00 hourly
- Full-Time; typically, daytime hours
