A Day in the Life of a Tire Technician
As a Tire Technician, your day will involve performing tire installations, rotations, balancing, and repairs. You will inspect tires for wear and damage, ensure proper tire pressure, and provide exceptional service to customers. You’ll also help maintain a clean and safe work environment, assisting team members as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Install, rotate, and balance tires.
Inspect tires and wheels for damage or excessive wear.
Perform tire repairs using appropriate tools and methods.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Operate equipment and tools properly and safely.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with team members and clients.
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience as a tire technician or in a similar automotive role preferred.
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Basic mechanical knowledge and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Valid driver’s license is a plus.
Schedule and Compensation:
$14.00 – $16.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (30-minute lunch)
