Job Description
Southern Point Staffing is seeking a Tractor Operator for one of our local farms.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Will be loading 50lb bags of seed.
- Will occasionally move pickup truck with 8 to 12 ft open wood trailer.
- Must be able to maintain a great attitude in hot weather conditions.
- Assist with needs of daily loader operations.
- Driving a tractor with a large mower behind it, in between pecan groves
- Assist in the planting season / harvesting season
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent attendance and punctuality are required.
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to learn and be apart of an amazing team.
- Must display self-discipline and motivation.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Some previous experience on a farm
- Able to operate a tractor
Pay and Schedule:
- $15 /hour. Paid every week
- 7:00 – 5:00 Monday – Friday.
