A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Associate
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of a fast-paced, team-driven environment where accuracy and efficiency are key. Your responsibilities will vary depending on the department but may include picking and packing orders, operating forklifts or pallet jacks, staging freight, and ensuring inventory is properly handled. You’ll play an important role in keeping the supply chain moving while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
This position is ideal for reliable individuals who enjoy physical, hands-on work and are ready to grow with a company that values integrity and hard work.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Follow daily warehouse procedures to meet safety and productivity goals
Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment
Scan inventory using handheld devices or manual tracking methods
Operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks
Assist with loading/unloading inbound and outbound shipments
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned work areas
Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed accurately

Qualifications and Experience:

1+ year of warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred
Forklift certification is a plus (but not required for all positions)
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are a must
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Safety shoes (steel toe) required on site
Must provide a verifiable work history with contact information

Schedule and Compensation:

Pay: $14.00–$20.00 per hour (depending on experience and position)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Some positions may require occasional overtime
Benefits: SPS offers supplemental health insurance to employees while on assignment
