A Day in the Life of an Outbound Packer 4th Shift
As an Outbound Material Handler, your day will involve retrieving and preparing customer orders for shipment. You'll work closely with a dedicated team to ensure all items are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently using handheld scanners and warehouse equipment. This fast-paced position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and high performance. Responsibilities and Duties:
Retrieve and sort items accurately from warehouse racking using handheld scanners and/or forklifts
Consolidate and prepare customer orders for shipping
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and computers
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly goals
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Flex into other roles as needed to support warehouse operations
Qualifications and Experience:
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
1+ year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Positive, customer-focused attitude
Able to lift 50–75 lbs. regularly and push/pull up to 150 lbs.
Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and reaching
Schedule and Compensation: Pay: Based on Experience Schedule: 4th Shift Friday & Sunday - 6:00 am - 6:00 pm , Saturday 6:30 am - 7:00 pm, Cannot miss anydays, wether excused or unexcused during the temp to hire period.
