Southern Point Staffing is now seeking an experienced Dispatcher/Maintenance Coordinator for a local heating and cooling business. The main duties for this position include dispatching HVAC technicians on effective service routes, maintaining excellent communication with customers, and scheduling required maintenance, repairs and installations for HVAC units. Must be self-motivated and able to handle rapidly changing priorities and tasks simultaneously. Must be able to respond to issues with customers and co-workers with a high level of professionalism. Must have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage and lead effectively.
- Dispatch technicians on logical, efficient routes to customers.
- Schedule service and installation jobs, communicating with customers to confirm time before sending technician on site.
- Gather invoices and handle payroll for technicians, making sure all paperwork is in order.
- Enter new planned maintenance agreements in the system and maintain/renew existing agreements with customers.
- This position requires a HS diploma or equivalent, and preferably 2 years’ experience in dispatching or a related field.
- Must be organized and detail oriented, with the ability to multitask and collect data accurately.
