As Sous Chef, you will be second in command of a dynamic and creative culinary staff. Line cooks will play an integral part in creating a dining experience like no other! - Expertise as a kitchen manager, line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook.
- 2-3 years' proven work history in the culinary industry.
- Exposure to fine-dining and taking EXCEPTIONAL care of guests.
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts preferred.
Required Qualifications :
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (ex. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow executive chef’s instructions
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
